Our Tile Unlocking functionality is built in to release courses through phases. This means that learners may not see some courses straight away as they need to complete the initial courses first in order to move on to the next phase of courses. This is to ensure that learners complete training in a specific order.
Add or remove courses from Tile Unlock
To add or remove courses from the Tile Unlock groups please follow the steps:
⚠️Warning: Once your groups are set up, some courses may no longer be visible to users due to the order you group the course.
Login into to Admin Tool.
Click Config, then click Tile Unlocking.
Select the group to assign courses, then click the plus icon to add courses.
To remove courses that are already added in the Tile click delete icon.
For example, Group 1 is the first tile learners need to complete, and this may consist of five courses. All of these five courses will need to be completed before the next tile becomes available to them, and so on.
Click Save.
📌Note: Depending on how your company requested this functionality to be set up, you can have up to six tiles. You can name the tiles and add courses to them.
Edit a tile
To edit a tile, follow the steps:
Login into to Admin Tool.
Click Config, then click Tile Unlocking.
Click edit pen.
Change completion order of your tile
To change the completion order of your tiles, follow the steps:
Login into to Admin Tool.
Click Config, then click Tile Unlocking.
Click Reorder.
Course not available error
If a learner receives the following message when attempting to launch a course:
The course is not available. The course is not currently available for you to launch. Please review and complete your other courses before accessing this course.
Why this happens
⚠️Important: Even if the course is assigned on the account, it will not be accessible unless it is correctly placed within a tile.
This error typically appears because the course has not been added to a Tile Unlock group in the Admin Tool.
When Tile Unlocking is enabled, courses must be assigned to a specific tile or group. If a course is not added to any tile:
The course may appear unavailable.
The learner will not be able to launch it.
How to fix It
To resolve this issue follow the steps:
Log in to the Admin Tool.
Navigate to Config , then click Tile Unlocking.
Select the appropriate group or tile.
Click the plus icon to add the course
Click Save.
Once the course has been added to the correct tile and saved, it will become visible and available according to the tile progression rules.
