Set up automatic course resets

You can customise the number of automatic course resets.

This feature allows you to set up automatic course resets for failed courses. You can customise the number of automatic resets to fit your preferences. Once a user hits the maximum allowed number of resets, their account will need to be manually reset by an administrator.

Note: You need Admin tool permission to manage automatic resets. If you don't have the relevant permission configured address this to your Head Office.

Enable automatic course resets

To enable automatic course resets follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Admin tool.

  2. Click Details.

  3. Click Permissions.

  4. Scroll down to the courses section

  5. Select No. of Auto Reset Failed Courses, then choose the number of auto resets.

  6. Scroll down and click Save.

Change the number of automatic resets

To change the number of the automatic resets follow the steps below:

  1. Sign in to the Admin tool.

  2. Click Details, then click Permissions.

  3. Scroll down to the course section.

  4. Next to No. of Auto Reset Failed Courses select the number of resets from the drop-down.

  5. Scroll down and click Save.
