๐Ÿ‘‹ Long time no release notes!

Over the past few months, the CPL Learning team has been heads down building. Weโ€™ve been working on a number of updates and improvements across the platform, and this release brings together the most important changes.

Here's a roundup of the most important things we've been up to. ๐Ÿ‘‡

Evo โ€“ your new learning experience

CPL Learning is now fully integrated into Evo, the modern, unified platform from Access.

Evo is available as an upgrade. If you'd like to find out more or discuss migration, please get in touch with your Account Manager or CSM/TSM.

Accessing CPL Learning in Evo

CPL Learning is now available directly within Evo, making it easier than ever to access your learning in one place:

  • CPL Learning appears as a dedicated tab at the top of your screen.

  • You can also access it anytime via Products.

  • No need to navigate to a separate platform, everything is right where you are.

Copilot โ€“ our AI-Powered learning assistant

Evo brings AI assistance directly into your learning experience through Copilot:

  • Access Copilot from the left-hand navigation menu.

  • Select the CPL Learning skill for tailored, learning-specific assistance.

  • Ask questions like:

    • Who is required to complete the Allergen Awareness course?

    • Is there anyone in my team currently overdue on their mandatory training?

    • Where am I up to with my compliance training?

Feed & Notifications

You can now stay on top of your learning activity with Access Feed, available within Evo:

  • Get real-time updates on your training activity directly in your Feed

  • Notifications for checklists, shared content, and more โ€” all in one place

Content Management โ€“ everything in one place

Managing your learning content just got a whole lot easier. All content management functionality has now been centralised into one dedicated area, accessible directly from the top navigation in CPL Learning.

From the Content Management section, administrators can manage:

  • Appraisals

  • Checklists

  • Courses

  • Discover

  • Events

  • Learning Journeys

  • Library

  • Surveys

Thereโ€™s no longer any need to jump between different areas of the platform โ€” everything you need is now centralised and easy to find.

Content Hub Redevelopment โ€“ a faster, cleaner experience

Some of the mostโ€‘used pages in CPL Learning have been rebuilt from the ground up. While things may look familiar, a significant amount of work has taken place behind the scenes, resulting in a faster, smoother and more modern experience.

Here are some of the highlights:

  • Events

The Events page has had one of the biggest overhauls. Itโ€™s been completely rebuilt and is significantly faster than before, while keeping a familiar look and feel.

  • Appraisals

The Appraisals page has been fully redeveloped. The experience remains familiar, but itโ€™s now built on a much stronger, more modern foundation, making it more reliable and responsive for everyday use.

  • Checklists

Checklists have also been fully rebuilt in the background. The experience stays the same, but performance and stability have been improved.

  • Course Page

The Course page has been completely redeveloped and is one of the most visible changes in this release. The new page is clean, modern and much more intuitive.

When you click on a course, you now get a sleek modal with all the key details before jumping in.

Additional improvements include:

  • Deep Linking โ€” you can now copy a direct link to any course using the share icon on the course modal and share it instantly. No more navigating through the platform to point someone to the right place โ€” just copy and send

  • Ask Copilot - Copilot is now integrated directly on the course page, allowing you to:

    • Summarise this Course โ€” get a quick overview of what the course covers

    • Answer questions about this course โ€” ask anything specific about the course content

Reporting โ€“ a brand new way to track learning

Reporting in CPL Learning has had a complete overhaul. Alongside the existing Insights area, weโ€™ve introduced a brand new Reports section, accessible directly from the top navigation.

The Reports section currently includes two types of reports:

  • Compliance Groups โ€” track and monitor compliance training across your organisation.

  • Learning Journeys โ€” get visibility on how your teams are progressing through their learning journeys.

This introduces a new way of reporting in CPL Learning, providing more focused and structured insights.

Email Templates โ€“ a fresher, clearer communication experience

Weโ€™re in the process of redesigning all email notifications across CPL Learning to improve clarity, consistency and structure.

Previously, email notifications varied in structure, tone and clarity, which could sometimes lead to confusion. We're fixing that by introducing a consistent, clean and professional email design across the platform.

So far, the following have been redesigned and are already live:

  • Checklists

  • Appraisals

  • Coffee Chats

  • Courses

  • Surveys

More categories are on the way โ€” watch this space!

Client-Facing API โ€“ new endpoints for learning journeys

CPL Learning offers a fully documented, clientโ€‘facing API for organisations looking to integrate learning data with other systems.

In this release, we've introduced 4 new endpoints specifically for Learning Journeys, giving you the ability to retrieve key learning journey information programmatically.

All endpoints are well documented, including expected responses, so your technical team has everything they need to get started.

This release represents a significant step forward for CPL Learning.

๐Ÿ“ฉ Have questions about any of the features above, or interested in making changes or migrations to your platform? Reach out to your Account Manager or CSM/TSM โ€” we're happy to help!

More updates are planned as we continue to evolve the platform.
