Events are a digital record that an employee went to face-to-face training.
Book an event
To book a course or an event follow the steps:
Login to campus.
Click Events from your homepage.
The events tab will show the courses in an event calendar.
Click on the event that you want to book.
There are three different options to approve an event, direct booking where the employee can book an event from the calendar without any approval, invite-only where the employee receives an invite through email or request a place to an event.
Click Request a place as an employee in our example.
A form will appear for you to submit to your manager for approval.
This will show on the events calendar as pending approval.
Once the manager confirms the place of the event this will be shown as booked on your console and you should receive a confirmation email.
Click Book My Staff if you are a manager you can request a place to book your staff.
As a manager you can approve or decline the place request from your homepage by going to the events tile and click Requests.
Cancel a booked event
To cancel a booked event follow the steps:
Login to campus.
Click Events from your homepage.
Click on the course that you want to cancel from your calendar.
Click Cancel event booking.
A notification will be sent to the organiser that will take you off the event.
Note: After the employee has completed their training this will show in their events previously attended and will generate a training record for this course. It will show them as attended within their timeline and filter them to the relevant column on the reports.
