Appraisal not visible as it hasn’t been assigned

Assign an appraisal to a learner and select a manager to ensure it becomes visible.

In this section, you’ll find guidance on what to check if an appraisal is not visible to a learner because it has not yet been assigned or no manager has been designated for approval. It covers how to assign the appraisal to a team member and select the appropriate manager to ensure it becomes visible.

If a user reports that they are unable to view their appraisal, one possible reason is that the appraisal has not been assigned, and no manager has been selected for approval.

To assign the appraisal, follow the steps below:

📌Note: If you are a manager and don't have access to the appraisal editor address this to your Head office or use the Access Digital Assistant for further support.

  1. Log in to your learning platform.

  2. Click the Appraisals widget.

    • This may be named something different by your organisation.

  3. Click Manage appraisals, then select the appraisal you need.

  4. Click Not Assigned in the top right corner.

  5. Select the user you wish to assign the appraisal to, then click Assign to team member.

  6. Type the manager’s name in the search box and select their name from the dropdown list.

  7. Click Assign.
