Drop-down questions are a type of multiple-choice question where users select one option from a predefined list displayed in a drop-down menu. This question type is useful when you want to limit the choices to a single option and ensure a consistent set of answers for easier analysis. It’s ideal for situations where you want users to choose from a small set of defined answers, keeping the appraisal form clean and easy to navigate.

Benefits of drop-down questions

  • Simplifies choices: By displaying only the necessary options, drop-down questions make it easier for users to select their answer.

  • Standardises responses: Ensures that all users select from the same predefined options, reducing variation in responses and making data easier to analyse.
