Admin Tool resend welcome email

You can resend a lapsed welcome email through the admin tool.

Welcome emails are designed to introduce new users to the platform, providing essential information such as where to find the platform and how to log in. If your organisation has automatic welcome emails for new employees, you can resend a lapsed welcome email.

⚠️Important: If a user hasn’t received the welcome email and the resend option isn’t available, it may not be set up for your organisation or site licence, or you may not have the required permissions.

Resend welcome email

To resend a welcome email follow the steps:

Note: If you don't have the relevant permission configured, use the Access Digital Assistant and request notification template management through the Admin tool.

  1. Log in to the Admin tool.

  2. Click Employees and select the user you want to resend the welcome email.

  3. Click Activity then, click Activity Centre.

  4. Click Send welcome email.


Resend the welcome email after updating a user’s email address

If a user was set up with the incorrect email address you can update it and resend it. To do so follow the steps below:

  1. Load the Admin tool.

  2. Click Employee, then select the employee in question.

  3. Update or edit the employee details in the email section.

  4. Click Save.

    • After the email address is updated you can resend the welcome email.


Generate new password if no welcome email is set up

If the resend welcome email option isn’t available you can generate a new password by following the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Admin tool.

  2. Click Employees and select the user.

  3. Click User Details.

  4. Click Generate new password, then click Yes.

    • Copy the password then send it to the employee's email address.

    • Make a note of the username.
