What's new?

This activity introduces you to British Sign Language (BSL) phrases that are especially useful in hospitality. You donโ€™t need to be fluent to make a difference โ€“ even a few signs can help you connect with guests and make their experience more welcoming and inclusive.

By the end of this activity, youโ€™ll feel more confident using basic BSL to greet, serve, and interact with Deaf and hard-of-hearing guests, while also building a more inclusive environment for everyone. Small steps in learning BSL can have a big impact, helping create the kind of warm, inclusive service that makes every guest feel valued.
