Admin tool set up dependencies allocation rules

Set up allocation rules for a course within a user group.

To set up dependencies against a course allocation, follow the steps below.

  1. Log into the Admin Tool then click Config.

  2. Click Allocation then click the Products tab.

  3. Click Courses then select the relevant course.

  4. Click Add then select the relevant user group.

  5. Click Next then click Add dependency.

  6. Enter the following details:

    • Employment duration days: How many days after employment start date to allocate the course.

    • Complete, based on the completion of another product: Appraisal, custom course, survey.

    • Based on the start date of the employee, for example, if you need to allocate a custom course that is relevant only for new starters, or you have a new version of the Induction course. Set up the start day with today's date, meaning only users with today's date or after will receive the allocation.

    • Days since logged in.

    • Employment duration day at the current position.

    • Prior to start date.

  7. Click Save.
