Compliance groups can be configured in two stages, both for administrators to define compliance for a company and for users to get visibility on what is next for them to become compliant.

⚠️ Important: If you don't have the relevant permission configured address this to your Head Office and request compliance group management permission.

Configure compliance groups

To configure compliance groups as an admin follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to the Admin tool.

  2. Click Compliance Groups from the dashboard.

  3. Click Create, then name the compliance group.

    • For example, Allergens, Food Safety, Health and Safety, Key Policies.

  4. Click the Plus + icon to configure what makes up the compliance group.

    • Include relevant courses, library items, checklist items, surveys or appraisals.

    • For example, if you create an allergens compliance group, it might include five different allergen courses.

  5. Set the completion behaviour:

    • Complete Any Items: Users can complete any of the listed items to be considered compliant.

    • Complete All Items: Users must complete all listed items to be considered compliant.

  6. Select the grace period:

    • Number of days: Users have the configured number of days to complete the compliance group once they become part of a group.

    • Fixed date: Users that fall within this compliance group must complete the group by the date provided.

  7. Click the Plus + icon to select your user groups.

    • Determine which user groups are required to complete the compliance group.

    • Add exemptions for specific user groups if necessary, like maternity leavers.

  8. Click Save.

Add compliance widget to console

Once you've configured your compliance groups, you can add the compliance widget to ensure users can see their compliance status.

To add the Compliance widget follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to console.

  2. Click your initials on the top right corner

  3. Click Manage Platform scroll, then click Add widget.

  4. Click Live widgets, then add the Personal Compliance widget.

    • You can customise the widget's appearance and title as needed.

  5. Click Confirm, then click Publish.

User visibility and course completion widget

In the User visibility and course completion widget, users can see the below:

  • A list of required compliance items.

  • Items are ordered by due date, with overdue items at the top.

  • Overdue items are highlighted at the top.

  • What needs to be completed next.

  • Courses are listed even if not currently allocated to the user, ensuring visibility of required compliance.

  • Compliance groups are not driven by course allocation.
